"Spot" Listing

1.11 It is also open to members of the public to bring to the Department's attention individual threatened buildings. They should write to: The Department of National Heritage (Listing Branch), Room C9/15, 2 Marsham Street, London, SWIP 3EB. and should give the full address of the building in question and, if possible, photographs of it and a location plan. The building will be assessed and, if it qualifies, added to the statutory list. This emergency procedure is known as "spot" listing.

SENSE are making an application, but it would be great if any residents did so too.

That's the answer - what's the question?

I think it is the recently refurbished Dower House that has been sold. Still part of the HC estate.
That's the answer - what's the question?

Yes, they were told to remove the great big gates that were first there, and now they've put 'in keeping' gates at long last (oops, pardon the pun).  They didn't apply for planning permission for the new driveway (the one that goes down to the entrance of the JC site) last I heard the 'council were looking in to it'.  The only access used to be from pond cottages.
