So all us Yummy-mummy's are 40 plus are we?? NOT!!

The demographic USED to be to the older generation but that is now changing with more and more younger families moving in as the older bods move away or depart this mortal coil. With its access to the London and the motorways, this is considered a younger, executive person's area place now (although house prices are tough)

Still don't know what I want to do when I grow up...

i agree moggies-  ! all yummy mummies are not 40 plus!!!!!!

as for input for the bucks ad, what about this forum,  and the increasing popularity of it, what about the newly about to be released chamber of commerce website, these are accessible by locals and both sites have information for locals, - there are plenty of silver surfers as well as youngsters out there with web access. they are great local resources...

there are lots of little bits of local news/ goosip/ ramblings of a madman/  coming up... you may be covering these anyway.... but here goes...

there is the forthcoming st peters players production, what about a lights camera action  fly on the wall type thing on the work that goes  into these productions.....

what about the work of the local businesses do to support the village.... support for the locsal events and business like integra sponsoring the school fayre.... a ' public' pat on the back i think would not go a miss...and covering the fayre and the work of the school....

and i agree with others the changing face of architecture in the village its a topic we cant help but be affected by..... it affects everyone, those who live in the village, locals who visit the village and people coming from far afield coming into this area...has anyone else noticed how the bigger houses on packhorse road are all being demolished to make way for loads of flats.......then there is gossip regarding plans to build at winkers, holy cross, and other areas in and around CSP.,

what about the current situation with regard to the NSE ? , are they going to upgrade the accomodation for its residents...like we were told they MUST do to comply with the care standards... how much did they spend on their planning application... money that could have gone towards the care of their residents - money that some local residents may have given in raffles and charitable donations......?

what is happening to the proposed developments at criss grove, the 2 propoerties at the end of the road have now been under application for redevelopment...... looks like the 'parking spaces' that go with these homes would easily convert into site access for potential future development on the playing fields at the back of criss grove...

would be great to have an update on the tesco tunnel  fiasco once the HSE report is public.....what actually is happening.......

juvenile crime in the village...... plenty to write on there....

rising spates of petty vandalism and drug taking in CSP........

what about  how the hosepipe ban is affecting  csp, are local buisnesses losing out, - is it affecting trade ?- hlelen has already pointed out that the recent spate of power cuts has made it tough to run her business, , Garry Bree has also pointed out that freezers and foodstuffs are ruined when the power goes off....... it must be tough for local business who rely on water for their business to continue if water  rationing is imposed.....i am sure some of the fossils down at the CSP gardening club will give you a quote !

all abit random and interesting to different levels and members of the locality but input all the same.....

need a stella and i need one now !

From Baggles list there seems to be enough topics for a CSP newspaper.

Its about time a CSP newspaper went online, there's a few of us that can't make the newsagents..........

Condoms should be used on every conceivable occasion.

I think it ought to be pointed out the Advertiser isn't just CSP's
newspaper. It covers 80 per cent of South Bucks, and the southern part of
Chiltern District.
There's loads of news in it, especially when you remember it's
essentially written by three people. When I was there we were never...
EVER short of stories to cover.

The Advertiser used to be online when I first started working there Tobic
back in 2000, but was taken offline either at the end of that year or in
early 2001 (I can't quite remember) when it was taken over by Trinity
Mirror.
It might be worth asking the editor Julie Voyce how likely it is to go back
online, but considering it's been about five years off now, I doubt the
powers that be will let it happen.. but you never know.

Shouldn't this topic really be in Chat To The Bucks Ad?

Well, I LIKE THE WAY THE ADVERTISER IS MOVING FORWARD, BUT HOW DO YOU GET 18-30 YR OLD BUY THE PAPER BECAUSE ,LETS FACE IT ON A THURSDAY MORNING DO THEY WAKE UP AND THINK, OH MY GOD ITS THURSDAY I MUST GO OUT AND GET THE ADVERTISER!¬!!, the computer unfortunately says NO NO NO, if you want that audience you must first offer them something in return ie; i really dont know maybe a beauty compeion over a 3 month period, a mr hunk or who is the fittest boy in the village( also accomodates 40 plus peverts of both denomination)
