Malc, he could be right. How are you so sure that I am telling the truth about living in Brighton ? I do live here though, Portslade, which is all part of the city now.

That's originally my part of the world. Which part of Portslade do you live in? I did my History GCSE project on the old village.

I have lived in Brambledean Road and now in Easthill Drive, just down from the Mill House pub.

I don't know either of those roads I'm afraid Carlos, or the pub.

I was baptised in Our Lady Star Of The Sea.

I did work a couple of times at Garratts in the old village, and my cousin works at Le Carbone.

But really I grew up in Shoreham and Hove.. actually.

Le Carbone, i didn't realise people worked in there, it looks like it is shut down from the outside. If you travel up from the old village on the road towards the Old Shoreham Road, Easthill Drive is the first left, by the church. Brambledean Road is opposite the harbour, and also opposite the Kings Head on the coast road.

I quite often go to the Pilot pub on the coast road at Southwick, you probably know that pub.

Oh right.. yes I know the Kings Head.. isn't it called something else now? And the Pilot.. is it still called The Pilot? I remember when that boat outside was new. Last time I went past it looked really rotton!

People do work at Le Carbone, they make pieces of precision engineering from carbon.

I love that oriental building outside Hove Museum. I had artwork exhibited there back in the day.
