Many thanks for your messages, and to your wife for helping with the telephone calls.
I apologise for not returning to you until now, but I have been officiating at the Wimbledon Championships and only just arrived home this evening. I would like if at all possible to reassure Jacqueline that this enquiry is genuine, and I do hope that she will be able to ring me.
Thank you again.
Sincerely
Alan Walker

Alan, my wife has been in contact with Jacqueline. Sorry about delay, but the people who could pass on her number to me were on holiday. Have passed on your telephone number to her, so hopefully she will be contacting you soon.

Alan, I do believe that we might know someone who knows of Jacqueline’s whereabouts, we phoned this evening and left a message and we are waiting for a reply.
So if you could just bear with me I will let you know ASAP.

To Dan Dan Chalfont Snapper
Yes !!! Have we found her (rather them)? Next question is do you want me to provide the name of the twin; if so I can readily do so, as I have the names of the twins, and where they were born. Please reply if possible this evening. The telephone number for me is above and I would welcome a call from either of them if we are that close.
Many thanks for your help in replying to my enquiry.

Thank you very much for your reply and for taking so much trouble to look for me and for those researching Warrant Officer Saunders' plane in Holland. This is the culmination of a long search involving various Squadron Association including No 49 Squadron. The lady to whom you have referred may be related to the family of Jacqueline's husband. We are sure Jacqueleine Anne Saunders married and became Purser. The mistake in my message is that it was Jacqueline's mother Frances Evelyn Saunders who lived at 44 Hiljon Crescent Chalfont St Peter. So I am sorry if this was misleading. We have also been informed that there may be a 'Purser' who lives close by Gold Hill Common, but this is not the one who is listed. Thank you again for the help thus far. I am also trying other local 'avenues'.

I used to be in the same class as Sandra Purser from Denham. Her Mother would possibly be in that age range. Sadly she is buried in Denham village churchyard, around 4 miles from Chalfont. I will try to get there and check to see the mothers name for you tomorrow.
I would also be interested in your relatives wartime history.
