Lippiatt's was between the firestation and the Lantern Stores, just on the left as you turn out of Chiltern Hill. Part of what is now a row of cottages. Art

A few of these were in the list in Names from the Past some weren't so I've updated the list. Franklin's coal I think was on the corner of Austin Wood Close, on the left as you turned in, his wife used to breed pugs. Art

Remember the milk bar well. Had a juke box and pyrex cups and saucers.

We think, maybe Sid Cole? Worked in a bike repair shop, behind Marshall's in Gerrards Cross. He had 4 daughter's and lived in the Vale. |
