Please can anyone help (as usual)

I want to produce a programme to cover Fun Night and need a helping hand to organise it - also someone to print it.

Any ideas please contact me: 01753 890303 07801659754

I have a contact who can do the printing (he works for Xerox). Martyc did the programme for the Party In The Park which was very good - I wonder if we can rope him in to do something similar for the fun night.
I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.

Yes please, I will collect advertising, but need a designer, as I do not have the time to do same.

Thanks Dan b

Have just had the figures for the costs of closing Market Place for Fun Night.

£600 for the council, paperwork etc. and in excess of £2000 for signs, barriers etc.

So I think you will agree that this is a stupid amount of money.

Also been told that a closed road invites all types of licensed traders, burger vans, ice cream vans and many other unsavoury types.  This I understand was the experience of Great Missenden last year and so this year they will not be closing their road.

Sorry folks as much as it would benefit the village it looks like a no-go.

May be worth a thought....

When our Bucks Advertiser do a feature on the forth coming fun night may be they could place a notice asking residents to avoid where possible driving their cars along Market Place.

I can understand that the cost would be a problem but surely the problem of attracting unwanted traders could be prevented?

I think the chaps from Flames could be persuaded to see off any unlicensed competition!

Stopping unwanted traders is not possible as they apparently, according to my information, have the right to trade as long as they have the relevant licence.

Thanks Fontie, will try and get the Bucks Adv. to help.
