Hi all, just for info for those dog walkers out there. My friend was walking her puppy on Mill Meadow, a young collie (18 months) approached and they started doing the usual dog greetings then suddenly the collie attacked the puppy leaving it with a nasty bite in it's side, plenty of blood. The owner just said, 'Oh that's not happened before' and walked off leaving my friend to deal with her injured dog. So be wary of a 20/30 something man walking with a black and white collie, 18 months old, very attractive dog. It appears friendly right up until your dog gets close.

Is the man walking the dog rather short? If so I know him he always has collies as he trains them as sheepdogs.

The man who trains sheepdogs is over 60 and his dog is probably 10 years old, wouldn't be him.
