Thanks to everyone who was out on Sunday morning putting up the Christmas lights, they look fantastic! I see Vince has made more 'balls', they look very effective indeed, thanks Vince. Has the 'welcome to Chalfont St Peter' light died? I assume the ones that used to go over the road up market place no longer fit with the pavement widening?
Anyway thanks to you all for making them and putting them up. Let us know when they are coming down and we should be able to come and help |

the welcome to chalfont st peter signs are paid for by the parish council, - i understand they're checked and stored and erected by a lighting firm in chesham...
the road and pavements may have changed width- but the wires are strung between the buildings (vantage chemists and the market place shops on the other side) and as far as i am aware the shops haven't moved ;-) so the lights should still fit.....not sure when / if theyre going up ?
