   Had a meal there last night with friends, it has been refurbished and is now owned by the same people who own The Swan in Denham. 
It is  still a pub, just, they have extended the restaurant into the small bar area that was in front of the restaurant, the menu is very pretentious, every dish has this and that added to it, mainly it appears to justify the prices which are quite high. The food was fine but not outstanding, the service was a little slow, but the atmosphere was good.
We had an enjoyable meal but I won't be hurrying back, you can get a better meal for less elsewhere.
