Has anyone noticed how the A413 between the A40 and the railway viaduct, heading towards CSP is full of pot holes. I was coming down there this morning doing around 80-90mph and hit one with a huge thump, thank God Beemers are well built is all I can say!

The Council needs to get out there and repair our roads instead of letting them crumble and become safety hazards.

Can't say I've noticed. Are they in the slow lane?

Thank goodness you weren't going upto 20mph over the speed limit on a very wet and already dodgy road during rush hour as had you hit a pothole it would have been with a massive thump!!

They seem to be dotted all over the place, and they're not small ones!

I just think if there's a road for not speeding on it's gotta be the A413 (the amount of accidents there have been down there says it all)! Like u say there are potholes, its dodgy when it rains as there are puddles that just seem to appear from no where and (to be fair lighting is much better with the cats eyes) light not great. At least you have a much better chance to see in time and react in time if you aren't flying down there at 90mph.

if the A413 has a high number of accidents

why is there not a speed camera along there?...

There should be, it's the one place i absoluetley 110% believe there should be. I know of a number of accidents down there as I have had friends involved and a family member and myself actually live parrallel to the A413 so see a lot of the smaller ones aswell.

They need to block the gaps as I've said before. That's the cause of most accidents.

Replacing with roundabouts will cut the speed too and make the road safer.
