The pub will be open again, but not for a while. There is work being carried out on the electrics at the moment. There will be a refurb, new furniture, updated CCTV and new drinks including real ale. As for the name, we feel it is time to change it and as yet we are not completely decided on the new name. Hi Everyone
 
I will be coming to live in Chalfont St. Peter in about 3 weeks time and am hoping to start running adults craft workshops and classes here, and am trying to guage interest.
 
I am skilled in a variety of Crafts, here are some ideas of classes i am hoping to offer:
  • Scrapbooking
  • book making
  • card making
  • variety of other paper crafts
  • glass painting
  • pergamano

Please let me know if you would be interested in taking part or if you have any ideas for other crafts (chances are i have experience with them!)

If you are interested it would also be usefull to have an idea of the best times or days you could attend.

Anyone know what is happening with "The Poachers", I saw some work going on a few weeks ago but nothing seems to be happening now, is it going to reopen?
I had heard that it was going to be renamed "The Phoenix" (seriously) or "The Chalfont Arms" but have not heard any definite plans for its future.
